Whether you want your fireplace upstairs or downstairs, inside or outside, a traditional look or a more modern look, we’ve got you covered.
One of the main features most of the models have, is the new Direct Vent technology. This is guaranteed to make the air quality in your home much cleaner.
Benefits of Direct Vent Technology:
- Extracts polluted air and pulls clean air in
- Redirects heat up to 20 ft. into another room
- Powerful and efficient performance
When you schedule your annual maintenance for your heating or air conditioning system, be sure to schedule your maintenance for your gas fireplace.
Gas fireplaces require annual maintenance due to debris in the vents, in the flue and inside the chimney. This needs to be removed, as it will restrict airflow and might cause an odor. Gas fireplace debris includes: deteriorating logs, dirty glass doors or frame and residue.
During the yearly maintenance the Comfort Pro technician will first take a look at the exterior, which includes: making sure the glass is not chipped, cracked, or dirty, and that the framework is holding up sufficiently. While checking for dents or debris, the technician will also look at the interior gas ignition under the log structure and make sure it is lighting flawlessly. They also make sure your log set is not deteriorating in any way.
Often times, the face of the unit will have to be taken off, so they can inspect the valves and connections underneath your fireplace or insert. They will make sure your fireplace’s heat output is correct and clean up any residue that may have started to block any ports or vents. The technician will inform you of any repairs your gas fireplace may need.
Sometimes gas fireplaces act up and cause problems. Does your gas fireplace have any of these issues: no ignition, pilot light failure, burner trouble, strange odors, odd sounds? Call Comfort Pro today at 610-926-4200, our service technicians can help!
